About Us

Established in 2009, Puppylove Daycare Pty Ltd is a doggie daycare situated on Spes Bona Road, in Durbanville, Cape Town.

Our aim is to allow your best friend to socialise while you are at work. For a dog, there is nothing better than spending time with its own kind. It is reported that dogs who play in a pack, as they do at Puppylove Daycare, are more obedient and relaxed in the home environment. They also get used to different kinds of dogs, which allows them to socialise better in public.

Puppies and dogs of all ages and sizes are allowed at Puppylove Daycare. All dogs get tested for aggression on their first day, which means that the dogs in the daycare are socialised and playful. In winter, they have a large room with warm beds. We have constant supervision and each dog gets personal attention daily. We love dogs and will always put them first!

The owner of Puppylove Daycare, Carmia Le Roux, is a passionate animal lover, who has been working with animals from a young age. After finishing school, she decided to get herself qualified so that she could understand her canine friends better. She completed a Basic Dog Behaviour course in 2008, receiving an award of Best Practice. To further qualify herself, Carmia completed the Hill’s Veterinary Nutrition Advisor courses. This means she can give you expert advice on animal nutrition to keep your best friend fit and healthy for longer. She also completed the Advanced Dog Behaviour Course in 2010, which fully qualifies her to work with dogs at a professional level.
